Ganondorf

[Nabooru has ttly been following him. She, too, has peeled most of her usual clothing off, although not all of it as she's prone to do sometimes. Taking a cue from some of the clothing on display in the shops, she's in very appropriate beach attire. With her bronze skin and tied-back hair, she fits right in, really.

She approaches him and stops behind him to his left.]

[Zelda was pleased with the stop - it had been far too long since she had felt land beneath her feet, and it was certainly with a great joy that she had left the inn in the very early morning hours in order to explore.

She'd quickly found her royal attire completely inappropriate for island wear, and instead had donned something far simpler (http://geniusbeauty.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/greek-style-dresses.jpg) as opposed to the heavy robes and thick folds of her gown. She'd explored a good portion of the island, and had eventually concluded with the sandy shores of the beach. Her sandals were left by the edge of the grass that led into the forest, and she walked now with shoeless on the sand, enjoying the sensation beneath her bare feet.

She doesn't notice Ganondorf yet.]

[Ganondorf does not turn at the sound of the familiar voice. He relaxes his shoulders, chuckles lightly.]

I was unaware you were looking for me.

[Ganondorf hadn't been expecting company here. Especially not Zelda's. To be perfectly honest, he had hoped to avoid her for a little while. His pride was wounded, knowing she had rescued him from that grave. But there she was, in that darling white dress and he has to resist the urge to call to her.

Resistance is futile.]

[Zelda hadn't been expecting company either, though she really should have, since all of the passengers were on the island right now. Thinking she would be alone is silly.

Of course, she would have preferred other company. However, there is no reason to be impolite.]

...I am, yes. [And she really is, to be honest. She has never been on a beach like this before.]

It is...beautiful out here.

[Ganondorf nods his agreement. When he was a child, this was what he imagined Hyrule was like.]

It is. I suppose we all needed a change in scenery.

[The sea has a distinct smell she will not soon forget - and even now it invades her senses and she lets her eyes close as the wind whips her hair and dress.]

After all that has happened, yes. I think this is a good distraction for everyone.

What did you expect when you left and didn't come back?

[Nabooru knew nothing of graves and their comfiness. Arms crossed, she walks to his side and looks out at the ocean.

She isn't going to say she was worried, but that's what it is.]

And what do you need a distraction from, Princess?

[It's me isn't it? You can admit it. :3]

[He looked back at her finally and gives her a slight smile.]

Why Nabooru, were you worried about me? I am truly shocked.

[She closes her eyes and turns her nose up and decides to stubbornly ignore him.]

You're brave, walking around without your armor on. Just anyone could come up and make your back a dagger's sheath.

From:

You are joking, right?

[Seriously. Everyone that's attacked him has done so in a group. So he's not worried at all.]

From:

Not at all. You're standing here in a daze.

[She nudges him with her elbow and gives him a cautionary look.]

With that kind of face I have to wonder if you're looking out at all thbat water and thinking of conquering it.

[He gets a sideways look.]

The horrors of the ship. I am relatively tired of having to watch every step I take, lest I fall prey to some unknown evil.

I am contemplative. That does not diminish my alertness.

[She gets a glance at the nudge. So what if he is.]

It's lovely here, is it not?

It was beginning to become a bore.

[Hey now. I haven't done anything to you.]

That is...one way to put it, yes.

[Looking out at the ocean, she lifts her shoulders into a slight shrug.]

But this is a welcome change, regardless of the condition of the ship. I had wondered if I would ever set foot on land again.

Mmmh. [Sighing, she knits her fingers together behind her head and stretches her spine.] ...it's weird. The ocean looks different looking at it head-on. It looks more real.

From:

[Ganondorf agrees absently.]

It does. And yet, it is everything I imagined it to be. Hm. If only.

[My doesn't that sound like an incomplete thought.]

[Let it go, Princess. It's in the past. Let gooooo.]

And to think we were fortunate enough to land on such a beautiful island. I wonder if the Golden Shore is like this.

"If only." [Echoes, scoffs. Then gives him another nudge. Is she actually annoyed, or being semi-playful?] I'm lead to believe most normal men are obsessed with sex, you know.

[An eyebrow arch and a glance in her direction.]

Are they? What makes you so sure of this?

I have wondered the same thing. From the way the crew speaks, I would assume it is at least somewhat similar, though we cannot be certain.

[It doesn't matter, Zelda won't be staying.]

From:

[Hey, I'm not the one holding grudges.]

Of course. Though with a name such as the "Golden Shore", I would expect nothing short of magnificent.

From:

[Riiiiight.]

Nor would I. I admit, I am quite curious as to how it will look.

From:

[That makes her laugh, and she turns to face him a little, a look of disbelief on her face.]

Well - I'm speaking of the men of the other races, of course. But regardless, I say that with confidence because it's such an easily exploitable motivator of theirs. [Sly smile.] I am a Gerudo. Don't get jealous on me now.

[He returns her sly smile. If she wants to play, he'll play.]

Jealous? Why Nabooru, what could I possibly be jealous of? Other men are hopeless compared to me.
