[He's on deck 13, standing and looking out over the field of flowers. He's not really doing anything, but standing there with his hands clasped behind his back and looking quiet contemplative.]
[Oh hi, this isn't completely random or anything, but Herz has come to the deck to chill. It's very, very rare that he's ever so eager to get out of the kitchen, but it's just one of those days, you know. Probably the holiday lull finally beating him over the head.
Bah, whatever, he neeeeeds out. He needs to just lie about and be left alone and read or something.
He found these two plays; The Importance of Being Ernest and Angels in America. They were recommended subtly by the last GLBT book he tucked into, and he's certainly never heard of them anywhere else, but what the hell. He'll give them a shot. He's liked just about every other play he's read--all, like, five of them. Fuckit, lets have play reading times in the grass...
...that is a very, very tall, imposing man.
Herz doesn't recognize him, but he won't be impolite. As he passes, he nods.]
[Ganondorf was still lost in thought, so much so that everything else around him almost did not register. This sort of thing was unusual for him. He would not usually let his guard down like this.
Especially considering the fact that he's made some enemies here.
So it was almost entirely lost on him when Herz spoke. He blinked, almost shocked that Herz had even spoken to him.]
Hello.
[His reply was stiff, forced. He eyes Herz then turns away from him.]
[Oh, must've just caught him at a bad time. Yay attempts at conversation? Herz pushes himself up from the flowers and offers him a smile.]
No, I--I don't think we've met.
[Should he come over and offer his hand? It'd be pretty impolite if he didn't. But...then again, he did just sit down and...that guy is very big. Herz would feel much more comfortable if he simply waited for a cue from the other man that he may want some social politeness from the teen before he just jumps up and does it.]
[He winces. If Ganondorf were to look past his mass of green hair--which he is currently hiding under rather bashfully--he'd notice the teen is blushing redder than a Gerudo's hair.]
[He arches an eyebrow, but otherwise looks unimpressed. He's never met anyone who stutters without cause. Or maybe he has and he just didn't care enough to notice.

[He's just...gonna go over here and lay down in a patch of wildflowers and read. You...keep to your thoughts, then, sir.]

Date: 2009-12-30 11:39 pm (UTC)I've not seen you around.
[In other words, who are you? And it's as amicable as he can make it.]

Date: 2010-01-01 01:16 pm (UTC)It's fine, child. I've plenty of time to think.
[A pause and he frowns. What's up with all this stuttering?]
Stop your stuttering.
[He's certainly not THAT intimidating. Except that he is.]

I--I-I--
[Swallow.]
I'm...sorry. It's really...not...something I--I-I--
[A cough and a clearing of the throat.]
I can control. Well.

Fine.
[Guess he should try and make conversation.]
How long have you been here?

Date: 2010-01-04 10:11 pm (UTC)Few months. Uhm...well, its--it's been maybe...half a year...now.
[He's trying, taking it slower to make sure he's cutting back on the repeats.]
