[She could sense his interest in his voice, but she couldn't determine if it was due to some macho chauvinism or some kind of allure. It mattered little to her either way.]

[Nothing to do with that. He's just surprised a woman would take on his challenge.]

[It wasn't long before she found the gym and entered with determined purpose. Other than her 6'3" stature and general athletic build, she didn't look to be at all as physically strong as she was. Still, she'd hold back based on Gannondorf's show of power.]

[Samus was wearing an athletic suit, with snug fitting pants and a sleeveless top. It was simply safer to not get tangled in loose clothing.]

[She scanned the gym, wondering what the deep voiced man looked like.]

[Ganondorf is there already. He's shirtless and looking quite massive. He's at least a foot taller than Samus and there is no mistaking him among the equipment.

He turns to look when he hears someone entering the gym. This must be her. So he gets to his feet and approaches her.]

Hello. You were the one I spoke with earlier? I am Ganondorf.

[She was stunned by his height; she wasn't used to running into anyone taller than her.]

Yes. I am Samus.

[She turns her head to scan for an open area or a mat. She wasn't well trained in hand to hand combat, but she was proficient.]

[Listen carefully and you'll hear the sound of crisps/chips being eaten noisily from the other side of the comm. His tone is far too cheery for the situation.]

[There's a smirk in his voice. Ganondorf was only looking for a spar. But a fight will work just as well. A fight means he didn't even have to pretend he had self-control.]

Deck 3, in the gym. I'll be waiting.

[He sees her expression. He wasn't surprised. His size is usually unexpected. He nods for her to follow him to an open part of the room and rounds on her, his stance ready.]

I'll even allow you first strike.

[Like he's doing her a favor.]

[She followed, and watched his stance before taking her own. Her right hand was forward, clearly her dominant hand, a very aggressive stance. First strikes weren't a favor. She had no idea this man's skills. Back home, she would never have doubted her strength against a human, even one his size, but here she had no idea what she was up against.]

[To make matters worst, she was not comfortable without her arsenal.]

[Samus gave one nod before launching her attack: charge, kick low at partial strength, and be ready for a counter attack.]

.[His voice trails off and he sounds woozy, almost drunk though Tyler
was fine a second ago]

Fuuuuuck.

[The sound of a body hitting the floor is heard along with the comm
being dropped with a clatter. For a few seconds Ganondorf will hear
nothing but silence and then a groan and someone fumbling with the comm.]

What the hell? ....hello?

[One might notice a distinct change in tone. He's gone from cocky to
uncertain in a matter of seconds. Congratulations Ganondorf. You've
just listened to a personality flip. Jack has no recollection of the
conversation past.]

There's no need to resort to trickery. If you did not want to fight [Spar, whatever] then you did not have to agree to this.

[And Ganondorf is ready. The kick is blocked with ease and retaliates with swift and powerful punch at Samus' midsection. Maybe he should've given his meaning to the word 'spar'.]

[If she hadn't been anticipating a counter attack, she would have been easily hit by the agile punch. Instead, she used both hands to push against his forearm; instead of deflecting his punch, she pushed herself out of the way, twisting to the side. Using the momentum of the twist, she brought an elbow up towards his head.]

[If he was going to spar with such ferocity, she wouldn't hold back either. Samus's strength was brought on from being genetically combined with an elder race, she was no mere human.]

[Jack is blinking at the comm, suddenly worried that he's managed to irritate one of the 'dangerous' people on board. Kage had warned him. He'd listened.

Or thought he had anyway. Why he is on the floor of his room and apparently mid way through a conversation with a stranger is unknown to him.]

Look I don't know what's going on but... fight? [Pause] No I think I'll pass on that. Sorry for taking up your time.

[Tone suggests he's really, really confused.]
