kingofthisworld: († Pride can stand 1000 trials)

[Somehow, Ganondorf knew leaving his room was a bad idea. But he was so fond of deck 13 that he simply had to see how much it had changed. At the sight of the graveyard, instead of turning back, as he knew he should have, he ventured further inside and stopped just shy of the grave marked with his name.

He frowned. That was just an unpleasant sight to see. He knew death wasn't permanent for him, on or off this boat. But it didn't make the headstone any less unsettling. As he turned to leave, the ground beneath his foot gave way and he toppled over, landing in the grave and activating his comm at the same time.

There a few choice swears in Gerudo before he sits up. Then lays back down again. His voice is dreamy, content. Certainly out of character.]

I don't think I've ever felt such contentment before. This is...nice. I think I'll remain for a while.

[Zelda is a bit more powerful that many know of (or would like to believe - Ganondorf can attest to just what she can do), though what she can do has seemed to be dampened since arrival on the boat.]

Ganondorf.

[Her words are sharp, and meant to be jarring and loud so she can shake him out of his 'reverie'.]

[There are voices. They are hazy voices. Ganondorf must be dreaming. But just to be sure, he looks around the edge of the grave. And hello there, Princess and little boy. He gives them a sweet smile.]

Hello, Zelda. My you look lovely today. Everything is lovely, do you not agree?

[He's laying back down. Stop him D:<]

[He has NO IDEA what to say to that display. It's so wrong he just can't even believe what he's seeing, except that they probably shouldn't let Ganondorf go back to sleep. He claps his hands insistently, trying to grab the man despite obvious logic telling him it's absolutely not going to work, but he's really just out of it from that smile.]

[That smile and those actions suitably creep her out, but she makes every attempt to shake it off.]

Ganondorf. [She snaps at him, kneeling by the side of the grave and reaching to give him a rough shake. They literally are going to have to drag him out, aren't they?]

[He is roughly shaken! But it doesn't remove his smile and he makes no move to leave the grave.]

Yes, Princess?

[This time he doesn't make any move at all; he's afraid including himself in the current exchange might be obtrusive, or at least to what the Princess is trying to do at this moment. If he receives any hints that his input would be appreciated, he's ready to correspond in whatever way he should-- but for now, he watches silently, not moving his eyes from Ganondorf.]

[She presses her fingers to her temples, exhaling in frustration.]

I think that we are going to have to physically pull him out. I see no other way.

[Uh oh. Um... he looks at the princess, then down at himself, then back to the princess again. He's having a really hard time figuring out how exactly they're supposed to pull the gerudo out of there. He's pretty sure Ganondorf is way bigger than both of them combined, that's for sure.

Somewhat lost, though eager to offer some options, he pulls out his grappling hook. This has indeed proved to be very useful so far on the ship, but he's not so confident in it this time around.

[She nods to Link when she sees him pull the hook out - at this point, that will be their best bet.

She motions for him to extend it; the easiest way would be to hook it around him, then both of them physically drag him out.

This was going to be difficult, Ganondorf is a big man.
