What are you? Some schoolyard bully trying to pick fights?

[That's not say Kevas isn't going to show up. No, now that he knows where Ganondorf is he'll be taking full advantage of it.]

[Are you scared of the piglet, troll?]

Who said it would be fight?

[He's planning on a massacre :|a]

[Funny, Kevas has the same thing in mind.

Part of him is telling him not to do this though. Not out of fear, but because of the worry it might put his loved ones through. Then again, if he can hurt Ganondorf enough, kill him even, Kevas may prove that he's too much trouble to bother with. He can't deny how badly he wants to kill that bastard either. The risk is worth it.

Without saying a word he's off towards the orchard with his weapons ready. Once he arrives Kevas vanishes and becomes another silent shadow in the orchard. There's no chance he'll let Ganondorf get the first hit.]

[The orchard was not deck 13. But well. It got the job done. He was here most days, to keep his mind occupied. Maybe once he located a piano, he'd be able to play again and it'll be one more thing to keep him occupied until he could go back to the Shore or until Zelda arrived. Speaking of Zelda, he misses her ;;

He knows Kevas is coming. And he is on alert right now, large sword on his hand and ready.]

[Despite being nigh invisible Kevas sticks to shadows as much as possible. Big as Kevas is he knows how to be silent and stealthy. Ganondorf on the other hand looks about as subtle as a charging elekk.

That sword of his might be a bit of a problem. Kevas won't have the superior reach for this as he does in most fights, and arrogant as that giant pig may be, Kevas doesn't doubt his skill to use it. Of course Kevas is packing plenty up his sleeve.

Kevas creeps behind Ganondorf and attacks at the man's kidneys with lightning quick strikes from his swords.]

[CLINK.

Kevas you silly beast, you didn't think Ganondorf would come out here without his armor did you? The sounds of his swords striking the plates of Ganondorf's armor alerts him.

His thrusts his elbow back, hoping to strike the troll in the face before drawing his glowing blade and rounding on his opponent.]

Still a coward, I see.

[He's not here to trade barbs Ganondorf. He's here to kill.

Too slow Ganny, the moment Kevas feels his blades deflects off that armor he's on the move. Kevas whirls around Ganondorf striking at the man's head with the hilt of his sword.

Kevas might not be able to overpower his opponent, but speed is something he has in spades.]

[Speed is something our Gerudo King severely lacks. Fortunately, what he lacks in speed, he makes up for in sheer strength.

The hilt of Kevas's blade strikes its target, and though he's dazed for a moment, he still reaches a hand to grip Kevas by the offending wrist and if he's successful, Kevas will get a nice healthy dose of magic.]

[Oh he's successful alright. As Kevas feels the magic begin coursing through his body he grits his teeth in pain and...smiles? In the next moment Kevas' shadow wraps around his body again, but this time he doesn't disappear. Instead his body becomes a shadowy mist-like figure. The magic Ganondorf is channeling into him passes through his body before dissipating completely.

While this keep still dampens his abilities to some degree, it doesn't completely cut them off like the boat did.

With his free hand Kevas strikes at Ganondorf's face as quickly and as many times as possible. This ability doesn't last long and he wants to cause as much damage as possible while the opportunity lasts.]

[Ganondorf is no fool. With his magic useless against an immaterial being, he'll be flinging the troll back, to put distance between them, though not without receiving a blow or two across the face. So the troll has a trick or two. Ganondorf is anything but impressed.

He draws his blade once more. If the Keep is anything like the boat, Kevas won't be immaterial for long. He stalks toward the troll, sword at the ready and as unrelenting as ever.

If he's running low on energy, he's certainly not going to let Kevas see it.]

[Despite being tossed like a rag doll Kevas lands gracefully. His shroud disappears soon after he's thrown. It doesn't last long but it did its job.

Ganondorf is underestimating him. Good, that just makes his job easier. Just don't get cocky. With this brief lull in the fight Kevas searches for any weak points to exploit. His face is unprotected but after those last few attacks he'll undoubtedly be keeping his guard up. The joints should be the next weakest points in his armor. If Kevas can cripple him then this fight is all but won. Easier said then done.

With a burst of speed, Kevas closes the distance. He feints left before ducking low and striking at the side of Ganondorf's right knee with both swords.]

[Now it is Ganondorf's turn to smile. This brief lull has been an advantage to him as well. It doesn't really matter if Kevas has pinpointed weak points in Ganondorf's armor or not. Now that the troll is fighting with swords, he's stepping right into Ganondorf's territory. There is a reason he is considered the best swordsman in Hyrule.

He watches Kevas, eyes narrowed. Despite his speed, Kevas won't be striking anything but air. Ganondorf leaps above him, landing behind the troll gracefully despite his size.

And it is his turn to strike, with a heavy hand, he swings that massive sword.]

[Kevas spins around just in time to parry with his swords, but it's like being hit by a charging tauren. Pain spikes down his left arm and Kevas is thrown back by the attack. His sword is knocked from his hand.

Time for a change in tactics. In seconds Kevas is on his feet. There's genuine fear in his eyes, or at least what looks like fear. Ganondorf doesn't need to know he's faking it. Kevas takes off in the opposite direction. The moment he reaches the shadows he vanishes. Hopefully Ganondorf will think he's still fleeing. What he doesn't know is that Kevas immediately reappears behind him through his own shadow. Gripping his remaining sword with both hands, Kevas swings the blade at Ganondorf's head with full force.]

[The thought that Kevas might be fleeing does enter Ganondorf's mind for the briefest of moments. But he immediately reconsiders. After all, he had observed a disappearing trick of Kevas's once before. This could very well be similar tactic and Ganondorf was going to be ready.

The troll favored attacking from behind, that much was obvious from the beginning. So Ganondorf held his ground, waiting and expecting an attack from all directions. It is the slightest breeze he feels from Kevas's swing that alerts him to the troll's location. He whirls around to block the attack to with his fist.]

After being cooped up in the Bower for several days during the storm and the after-effects, Rapunzel had taken to evening strolls across the grounds. She still hadn't gotten over all the freedom she was allowed - while still mostly kept confined to a specific area (the Keep and it's surrounding focal points), she found being able to leave the tower so very liberating.

And the orchards were peaceful, most nights. Sometimes there were others out there, enjoying the area and the smells, and it seemed like tonight was one of those nights.

Except...that sounded like metal clanking.

With a frown, Rapunzel poked her head around a tree and nearly gasped aloud. Two men - giant men were fighting, and...

And one of them was Kevas, and she had to stop them--

Without even thinking, she was running towards the fight, her hair in her hands, twisting it and twirling it until she had it pulled into two loops. With a fling, she threw one at Kevas as she ran, the other at the...man. Thing.

With a jerk, she tugged them both tight, hopefully pinning the two mens arms to their sides.

"Stop fighting! Stop it right now!"

[Kevas is just about grab his hidden dagger and plunge it towards Ganondorf's eye when suddenly he feels something wrap around him.

...hair? And then he hears her voice. Rapunzel!

Any thought of fighting quickly dies when he realizes that she's here. Now it's just getting her out of here before Ganondorf tries to eat her alive.]

Girliemon get outta here!

[Any thoughts of grinding Kevas's face into the ground are killed. Because, well because he can't move. He looks down at the source. Hair. Of all the things.

He whips his head around to the girl holding him hostage and he's more incredulous than anything. Is she seriously restraining him with hair?]

From:

[She jerks her hair tighter, restraining both of them with her hair, pulling them apart.]

No! Not until you stop fighting!

[She faces Kevas, panting. She had NOT expected to face this tonight, and she's more than a little freaked out.]

Don't you know what happens when you fight each other?!

From:

[Oh Rapunzel, he's long past the point of caring about punishments.]

Girliemon he will kill joo! Get outta here!

[There isn't much doubt in Kevas' mind that Ganondorf can tear through that hair of hers. Hopefully Kevas can get between him and Rapunzel before that happens. That's if Ganondorf doesn't go straight for his throat first.]

[Believe me, Kevas, if Ganondorf could get through her hair, you'd be dead now. And suddenly this isn't odd anymore. Now it's just annoying.]

Release me, girl.

[She jerks that hair to pull Kevas back. You sit down! Right now, you bad boy!]

You both stop fighting! Right now! I'm not letting you go until you agree to stop!

[He might believe that if Ganondorf had even come close to killing him.

Kevas lets Rapunzel pull him back. Right now his first priority is getting her out of here. She has no idea just what she's stepped into.]

Joo be in danguh here. Fuh joor own sake leave.

[This? This is Ganondorf trying to escape. He's twisting and struggling against the magic strands. He's starting to get mad, Rapunzel.]

I said release me, girl. Now!

...Okay. Okay, just--

[She takes a few deep breaths.]

Kevas, I'm gonna let you go first, okay? No fighting. Promise?

From:

Alright girliemon, I promise.

[Oh the desire to attack Ganondorf right now is a strong one. He's entirely helpless. Kevas could ram a dagger through his through and there's nothing he could do...but he promised Rapunzel and he wants her safe more than he wants Ganondorf dead.

Once she lets him go Kevas grabs his discarded sword and stands beside Rapunzel, ready to get her the hell out of here whenever she lets go of Ganondorf.]

[Ganondorf on the other hand has made no such promise and fully intends to finish what he started when he's released.

Unless he's got an incentive not to... :|a]

Thank you, Kevas. Thank you so much. [For promising, understanding, stopping. He gets a quick hug, and a kiss to the cheek.

She doesn't know if she got here in time to prevent any punishments. All she can do is hope, and she as soon as she hears that promise from Kevas, her hair is unraveled and he's freed from the confines of her hair.

Now for you, Ganny.

She doesn't know this one. She doesn't even know his name. She curiously takes a few steps closer, eyes wide and staring.]

I'm...I'm sorry I tied you up. But...fighting here is bad and really bad things happen if you do it, okay? [She chews on her lip.]

Are...are you hungry at all? Would...would you maybe want some cookies or something?

[Be nice, be nice...]

[Kevas puts a hand on Rapunzel's shoulder but he never takes his eyes off of Ganondorf.]

We be needin' to go, now.

[If Ganondorf attacks Kevas is just going to grab the girl and run.]

[Ganondorf observes this carefully. Maybe it was time to approach this at a different angle. While he is still clearly annoyed, his voice softens as he addresses Rapunzel.]

Release me, child and no further harm will come to your troll.

[For now at least.]

[She nods, and flashes a timid smile at Kevas as she unloops her hair from Ganondorf. His words were....well. Not comforting AT ALL, but they helped.]

I'm Rapunzel. What's your name?

[Alright this is putting Kevas on edge even more than him attacking them. What is he playing at?

Kevas just keeps his hand on Rapunzel's shoulder, squeezing it reassuringly. As long as he's here he won't let her get hurt.]

[When Ganondorf is free, he takes care to sheathe his sword to show he means what he says.

He nods to Rapunzel.]

I am Ganondorf.

From:

Ganondorf. [She has to marinate on that name for a minute - it's really strange sounding.]

It's really nice to meet you. [She offers him a brilliant smile.]

Thank you for stopping.

[Kevas is really biting his tongue here. He doesn't trust Ganondorf at all. This bastard is up to something, but if Kevas says something he doesn't think he'll be able to stop.

Dammit why are they still here? They should be gone by now! Just relax, he can't start anything in front of Rapunzel, not after he made a promise to her.

It's right about now Kevas realizes he's still holding one of his swords. With a deep breath and a good deal of willpower he sheathes it.]

[Ganondorf's eyes do not leave Kevas the moment he realizes Kevas is moving. He doesn't trust that troll. Still Rapunzel and her smile catch his attention. He does not smile in return, but he doesn't seem annoyed anymore.]

Be on your way, Rapunzel, is it? Your troll is getting agitated.

[She hears that noise too and turns, eyes wide and nods.]

Okay...that's...that's probably best. Kevas, will you come to the Bower with me? I have something to show you.
