I had a wonderful evening, Zelda. Did you?

((ooc: This is still in the process of being logged. I was just completely stumped about what to have him post about. >_>))

Edit: Here's the log

[After a short while, there is a one sharp knock on Zelda's door.]

From: [identity profile] oblique-wisdom.livejournal.com
[Zelda answers her door in accepting and tolerance, steps to the side to let him in.]

Come on, then. People will stare if I force you to wait outside.

[He enters wordlessly. And is silent for a moment longer before turning around to greet Zelda.]

Princess.

[She looks up at him, quiet for a moment. Then she inclines her head respectfully and carefully presses her door closed.

Her room is barren for the most part. Well, would be if it weren't for the number of flowers everywhere. Someone has an obsession with Deck 13, obviously.
]

Ganondorf. You seem to be fitting in well here, or perhaps it is that nothing catches you by surprise.

[He takes note of the flowers. Aside from it and the piano in his room of course, their rooms were similar.]

When you have lived my life, it is difficult to be surprised by much. [He rounds on her with a smirk, that could quite easily be construed as malicious despite how innocent he attempted to make it.]

Though I must say I was pleasantly surprised by your invitation.

[She inches back from him, cautious as ever. Then she tips her head to the side thoughtfully.]

It seems like everyone else is making an attempt to get along. Why should I be any different?

[She gestures.]

Please. Make yourself comfortable wherever you would like.

Date: 2009-10-23 04:30 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] destinedtorule.livejournal.com
[He sits down in the chair, and puts on a rather stoic expression.]

The gesture is appreciated. How have you been, Your Grace?

[Meh, formalities - the necessary evil.]

From: [identity profile] oblique-wisdom.livejournal.com
[She glances around, looking for that little rabbit. Oh, where did he hide under this time? If it's the chair Ganondorf's sitting in, Zelda won't live it down.]

I would say I am sufficient, thank you. Things can always be better and yet they can always be worse.

[Missing boyfriends aside and what not.]

How do you do?

Date: 2009-10-24 02:51 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] destinedtorule.livejournal.com
[If the rabbit is indeed under Ganondorf's chair, he has yet to notice.]

I am well enough. Getting beyond the oddities of this ship, has made this trip a little more pleasurable than when I first arrived.

I have never pictured you for being one caught by surprise, especially by a mere ship. Surely it must have shaken you up, or you simply have not yet gone to thank Captain Redd for releasing you.

[Zelda folds her arms across her chest and tips her head to the side.]

As I have said, my dear, there is very little in this world and ours that can surprise me. This ship is odd and that seems to be it.

[Granted, he has yet to experience anything truly strange. Perhaps he will be singing a different tune by the time they've reached the Golden Shore.]

And this Captain Redd? He is certainly...an eccentric man. Though I suppose 'eccentric' is putting it lightly.

I think he is more a man playing at the position of a god. Not unlike someone else I know.

[She fixes him with a look. Then she gestures around.]

I am looking for a white rabbit. Have you seen him?

Date: 2009-10-24 03:12 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] destinedtorule.livejournal.com
[He catches the look and smirks.]

I have never claimed to be a god. Only a king.

[He glances around before he looks over at her.] I have not.

......
Captain Redd has not admitted it either. That does not mean he does not believe himself to be. You are not excluded from that.

[She could just go on and on, but she doesn't. Inching past Ganondorf, she leans down to peer under her dresser.]

I turn away for a moment and he disappears. What a troublesome creature.

From: [identity profile] destinedtorule.livejournal.com
Believe me, Dearest, if I thought myself a god, I would not have any qualms with admitting it.

[He watches her inch past him then he gets to his feet.]

I will help you search.

Unless you we--

[She peers over a shoulder at him and stares carefully. Is it a ploy? It could be. She nods, however. She'll let him help for now.]

If you were playing a part, which is likely what you are doing, then you would keep that information to yourself.

Date: 2009-10-24 03:43 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] destinedtorule.livejournal.com
Playing a part? Whatever do you mean?

[He has dropped to his knees and is peering beneath the bed.]

From: [identity profile] oblique-wisdom.livejournal.com
Do not play coy, Ganondorf. It does not suit you.

[Through a mane of blonde hair, she peers under her dresser, nibbling upon her lower lip anxiously.]

Date: 2009-10-24 03:52 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] destinedtorule.livejournal.com
I truly have no idea what you mean. I am not playing any parts, aside from a captive passenger.

[He reaches for what might be the rabbit but only ends up disappointed.]

Date: 2009-10-24 03:59 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] oblique-wisdom.livejournal.com
Of course you would say that. I have expected that from you from the very beginning.

[Not beneath her dresser either. So perhaps he's under the couch. It'll either be that or the closet. She's gotten rid of a lot of the places for him to hide under.]

Date: 2009-10-24 12:46 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] destinedtorule.livejournal.com
[Ganondorf is tempted to search the closet. But that would be such an invasion of privacy and he wants Zelda to trust him. So he is kneeling in front of the couch to peer beneath it.]

Since you seem to know me so well, Princess, would you be so kind as to tell me what I could possibly gain by deception here?

Date: 2009-10-24 05:08 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] oblique-wisdom.livejournal.com
[And thank goodness for that. Zelda opens her closet and shuffles through the endless dresses she's acquired since her arrival. And casual clothing. And semi-formal. And semi-casual. Zelda just has a lot of clothes.]

You are not the only person aboard who is deceptive. Surely you will eventually find that out in your stay. Of course, you may prefer to work alone, which would be less than surprising.

Baron Praxis is likely already playing this same card. I expect you to be doing so as well. Deceive the masses until you have acquired whatever it is you may want here.

Date: 2009-10-24 07:28 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] destinedtorule.livejournal.com
There is nothing I could possibly want here, Zelda. We are not in Hyrule. What else is there for me to covet?

Date: 2009-10-25 03:16 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] oblique-wisdom.livejournal.com
I do not--

[Aha! Found him! In... a shoe. Zelda bends down to pick up the small, white wiggling rabbit.]

--have your thoughts, so I would know what you do or do not intend to covet. I do not believe that is within my right to know either.

Date: 2009-10-25 06:31 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] destinedtorule.livejournal.com
[Well that rabbit's not here either, so he's getting to his feet and turning around to face Zelda.]

Because there is nothing here. Anything that I could possibly want remains in Hyrule, out of my grasp.
