There is more to me than intimidation.

I would imagine all people have more to them than what is primarily seen. There is more to me than simply diplomatic duties and my tiara. There is more to you than mere power, strength, and fright. It is still difficult for me to look at you, understand that you are not your ancestor, and forget the terrible times.

Surely you understand.

I do. It is difficult to forget slights against ourselves and those we care for.

Not many people understand that. There are many aboard of whom I pity for reasons of the sort. They don't understand. They don't see it. This... The ship has become a little too much to handle. If I thought I could evade the unnecessary questions, I'd hold myself up in my room to avoid it.

I suppose if there is a little kindness left, even from the one I don't expect it, then things cannot be so horrible.
