Some ways, I imagine. I have only... come here a couple of times. I have never gone all the way through. I haven't come since... Well... It's been a few weeks, I suppose.

[It was the last place she saw Jak. She's avoided the forest because of that and all of the other places that make her think of him.]

I know that. I wasn't implying any weaknesses. It's... just hard to hear about things like this and to be so powerless against it.

[It wasn't really a question, though it sounds like one. Silence follows and it's almost as if he is staring off into space.]

Well... After all of that, the Gerudo still existed. I saw them on my way out. I saw them with my own eyes. Really... I do not know what possibly happened in the years in between my descendants and me.

[He believes he knows. And the thought makes him angry. Probably angrier than Zelda has ever seen him. His brow is furrowed and his hands were clenched tightly behind his back.

He would avenge them. Hyrule would be conquered and her people would know what it means to suffer.

But that's for another time and another world all together.]

[She's unsure of what to say. Of what to think. How can she even begin to offer some sort of solace? His expression reminds her of something she saw many years ago. It's the same thing she saw when she was forced out of her kingdom for her safety. It's the same expression that she's held nightmares about.

Zelda pauses for just a moment, enough to linger behind him. A gloved hand extends and she taps one of his gently.]

Strength is admirable, but the ability to admit one's weaknesses is strength also.

[He only stops when he feels her hand and he relaxes his shoulders. He turns back to look at her and he raises an eyebrow at her words.]

[She retracts, a little uncertain by his movements.]

Perhaps. I find strength in one admitting his or her weaknesses. It takes strength and courage to confess these flaws.

He is surprised at her offer, but is not hesitant to accept it.]

She carefully wraps her arm around his, maintains a straight posture.]

[Which is a bit of a half-truth. The same things that are her weaknesses are her strengths, which nullifies anything as a weakness.]
